For the second time this week, an earthquake has struck an area 10 miles southwest of downtown near unincorporated Lennox. The 4.1 shaker struck at 3:49 p.m. this afternoon, followed by a 2.5 aftershock at 3:51 p.m. On Sunday evening, a 4.7 rattler shook up in the same area and earlier this month, a 4.4 struck in the Santa Monica Mountains. The Los Angeles Fire Department is reporting no immediate damage, but per policy, they must enter into "Earthquake Emergency Mode" and "actively survey" the city by ground and air to make sure. UPDATE: Officials at Caltech are saying this was an aftershock from Sunday's 4.7 quake.

At first I thought it was the spawn of Satan emerging from the depths of hell, but then I realized Scott Boras is already here.
That was just a weird one.
I barely felt it at 7th and Grand.
It felt like a car accident in Culver City.
A nice little distraction to end the work day. Now everybody is in the office is good and chatty.
Mandatory ride report: downtown, 37th floor, 5 second roller.
I work on the second floor of a 4 story building with a 3 story parking structure in Sherman Oaks. It's hard to tell the difference between an earthquake and a delivery truck entering the parking garage. My coworker looked over at me and said, "Was that an earthquake?" I said, "Mmm... nah."
I work a few miles from the epicenter on the 7th floor. We got a good shake but it wasn't as bad as Sunday's shake.
I braced myself at my desk in Marina del Rey...
Felt it down in Garden Grove by the Orange Crush. Slow roller for about 5 secs.
PS: @farley ROFL
Santa Monica was a movin'.
16th floor on Wilshire near San Vicente - made us all a little nervous. It rolled for a bit.
About a mile from the epicenter here in Hawthorne. Some broken picture frames that fell off peoples desks, but that's about it.
I will now use this as an excuse to leave early from work and go to the Dodgers game.
rolled us good here in Culver City!
kinda over these back-to-backers, though...
Here in Hollywood I didn't feel it.
I was walking to KFC on 7th/Broadway. Didn't feel a thing. I didn't feel the one on Sunday neither. That time I was walking to Ma Dang Gook Soo. The one months ago I didn't feel because I was walking to get lunch at Casey's on Grand. There's something about me walking to get food that prevents me from feeling earthquakes.
Felt a few rumbles with one good jolt in El Segundo.
I was wondering why the Red Line was slower than usual on my commute home. I was on the thing when the quake struck too, apparently.
