- This just in... It's expensive to live in LA. Ok, tell us something we DON'T know!
- How about news of a group of UCLA researchers suggesting that meditation might boost your brain power.
- Speaking of mind power... the Governator must be losing a little of his to suggest that the LA Coliseum should be sold to raise cash for the state. Say WHAT?!?!
- Curbed LA thinks back to the
greatshow Supertrain and wonders about the similarities to the nuclear powered train and the proposed high speed train from LA to SF. Frankly, we think the swingers' lounge is a GREAT idea! - The man accused of pulling one of the USC hit-and-run victims off the hood of the car has plead not guilty. He has been denied bail while his wife, the driver, was jailed on $1 million bail.
- LAUSD teacher's were ordered not to walk off the job on Friday. So instead they will picket outside the school before classes start.
- A federal appeals court has blocked Santa Monica from banning some private jets from the airport until an FAA review is complete. Santa Monica is trying to stop jets that land at speeds between 139 - 191mph for safety concerns.
- Finally... A couple of thoughtful 2nd graders decided to celebrate their Communions by helping out needy kids. Very cool!
