New to California Endangered Species List: Republicans

republicans-endangered.jpg "Not only is the current statewide Republican registration of 31% a historic low, but for the first time there is not a single congressional, state senate or assembly district that has a majority Republican registration," finds Fox and Hounds Daily, a blog about the state's politics and business. Is this a sign of the times or because more people are deciding to register as "Decline to State" or was this predictable when assembly districts were gerrymandered in 2001? Maybe that theory of three Californian states is now dissipating. (h/t, LA Observed).

I'm sure the JRBs of the world will be pleased to hear about this.

But be cautiously happy!

Democrats in the state have blamed Republicans for EVERYTHING while it has been the Democrats in power for over a decade making all of the important legislative decisions and steering the wants of unions through the budget.

Republicans can't be blamed anymore.

Not a single district.

This is the end of the Democratic bubble in this state. Hopefully it leads to a political equilibrium.

Hey Trojie!

Attending any "Tea Parties"?

No. Tea parties are a waste of time in a 2 party system when one party panders to one side, another party panders to another side, the people in the middle get muted.

Yea those are cracking me up.

Faux News, Hannity, and Beck are all trying to present this as grassroots when it's actually Republican Party Astroturf.
