- Some good real estate news! Curbed LA tells us that some theater space is opening up in downtown LA, unlike a lot of places that are closing their doors!
- A woman with a baby in her car was shot to death after leading police on a high speed chase through five cities. Police havent released any details as yet. The baby was unharmed.
- The Daily Dish reports on the opening of Bokado, a nice Spanish bistro in Studio City. Nom!
- Prosecutors are filing murder charges against the man that killed Angels pitcher Nick Adenhart and two others in a hit and run. His blood alcohol level was three times over the legal limit.
- Natural selection at an island off the coast of Ventura... sort of. Cats need to be removed from the island in order to save the endangered species that also live there.
- A little bad this Good Friday. The Wrap gives the sordid details on the Peter Morton Fraud trial.
- The King-Harbor hospital has reached a $3 million settlement with the family of a woman who died writhing in pain on their emergency room floor. The case sparked a nation wide controversy of poor medical attention in county facilities.
- Finally... The John R. Wooden Basketball tournament features some of the top men and women players from around the country who show up to teach Special Olympians the game of basketball. The event is held at the LA Athletic Club for the Special Olympics of Southern California.
