- A wildfire broke out late this afternoon in Palm Springs burning two homes.
- After being arrested last month at LAX, Coolio has plead not guilty to drug possession and battery. After grabbing a screener's arm to prevent a search of his stuff, cocaine and drug paraphernalia were found and he was booked on the two misdemeanors.
- Don't forget, Pillow Fight Day is tomorrow. 3 p.m., Pershing Square, pillow in hand. We'll be waiting...
- The Governator wants to, quite literally, 'Show Us the Money!' He launched a new website that basically lists the claimed expenses of top state officials.
- LA city officials are considering around 400 immediate layoffs, with some more 2,800 positions to be eliminated in the coming months.
- The Beatles' George Harrison is getting a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame! His star will be unveiled on April 14th in front of the Capitol Records building. Even though he already has a star as a member of the Beatles, only he and John Lennon will have their own star.

- Good news for outdoors lovers, bad news for the neighbors. "A Los Angeles County Superior Court judge has ruled against a group of Malibu homeowners and two taxpayer groups that had sought to prevent the Santa Monica Mountains Conservancy from using studies funded by state bond money to prepare a plan to increase public access to parks," reports the LA Times.
