Cupcake Challenge Winners Announced!

We came, we saw, we tasted... and so did hundreds of cupcake fans at Sunday's sold-out Nesquik Cupcake Challenge. Part of the tough task of eating the many, many, many sweet treats up for grabs from several local cupcake bakeries was marking a ballot to indicate your top three picks in three categories. Now all the ballots have been counted, and--drumroll, please--Los Angeles, here are your winners:

This particular judge (whose vote counted as 5x a guest vote) didn't do much to sway the results. I really enjoyed most of what wound up being named the best of the best, but also found that much of the rest was more to my liking. Ah, well. To each his own, in the world of cupcakes, I suppose. Does the battle ever really end? Of course, if you want to hunt down your own top picks in town, you can always use this Cupcake Battlefield Map to help navigate the sugary-sweet seas and proclaim your own victors.
