Street Food Themed Restaurant Releases Menu

susan-fenigers-neon-street-restaurant-sign.jpg Inspired by street foods from around the world, Susan Feniger's Street in Hollywood will serve you up such items as Malaysian black pepper clams, Egyptian style baked fish and Cuban stuffed potato cakes. "The food pushes people a bit," Feniger told the LA Times earlier this month. "The idea is to experience something new without having it be risky. . . . I love to have people learn about things that they've never eaten before."

That's true, Cantonese White Radish Cake and 95% of all the items on her lunch and dinner menus will push uninitiated world travelers to new heights, of course, at a reasonable restaurant price.

Eater LA got their hands on the lunch (pgs one & two) and dinner menus (pgs one & two) to tempt you, but no opening date has been announced yet, so we'll be keeping our ears to the ground.

Can't wait to try everything!

Me too, there are not too many veggie items, so I'll get through the menu fast:)

This is a really cool idea, but I wish someone would do it with street prices as well!

It opens Monday March 30. You can see the beer and wine menu here:

Those prices are ridiculous. Just drive 5 miles or less within LA and get the real thing at 1/2, or hell, 1/3 of the price in some cases. And it probably won't be as bland.

What a joke.

Why am I so excited about this restaurant? Probably because I love Border Grill but this is way closer to my house.
