CAUSE
Burger fans, rejoice and head down to 3rd Street Promenade. Charity Smackdown is taking over Fatburger for tonight's fundraiser. A $10 donation lets you support your favorite team and cause. Bring your friends because the team with the most supporters takes the entire pool of donations and if you are one of the first 30 RSVPs, your burger is complimentary. Free t-shirts (until they run out) to all attendees that donate. Event starts at 9 pm.

DISCUSSION
When big brother was first envisioned by George Orwell, he probably didn't think big bro' would be interested in knowing everything there is to know about Jessica Simpson's latest weight gain/loss. Fortunately for interested parties, the Internet does care, as does TMZ and the paparazzi. Tonight, the Society of Professional Journalists hosts a discussion on the topic of ethics and reporting of entertainment news. The panel includes Harvey Levin of TMZ fame, L.A. Times reporter Harriet Ryan and celebrity attorney Blair Berk. Event starts at 7 pm at the Beverly Hills Public Library auditorium. RSVP at SPJLosAngeles@gmail.com or 323.259.3350

TALK
Ozomatli is tonight's focus at the GRAMMY Museum in downtown. The band will discuss their activism, politics and power that political songs can wield. The band will also share film clips from their missions as U.S. State Department cultural ambassadors and answer questions from audience members. Doors open at 7:30 pm.

THEATRE
Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre presents F**k, Marry, Kill, described as a "collection of unfortunately true stories that will make you feel better about all your crazy exes." Written and performed by Molly Prather. Show starts at 8 pm.

Kinda funny that the pic is from The Counter (Santa Monica?) and the post is about Fatburger.

Yeah, I knew that when I picked it out, but it was the best one I could find to provide the visual I wanted without spending 3 hours looking for an image, and I was already about 30 - 45 mins into it. So I went with one that didn't have any visual identifiers of where it was taken. You'd have to know the place to identify it.

You win some, you lose some.
