Apparent Road Rage Leaves One Man Shot in Toluca Lake Area

crimescenetape2f.jpg A man was shot in the hand yesterday afternoon after an alleged road rage attack, according to the LAPD. The 35-year-old man while driving on the northbound 101 freeway when at least six shots were fired at him, forcing him to exit onto Lankershim Blvd and stopping outside a body shop on the 4300 block near Bloomfield St. shortly before 3:45 p.m. The shooter crashed into a pole and ditched the car only to be found a few blocks away by police, ABC7 reported.

"I saw the entire Body Shop staff in handcuffs with seven or eight cop cars, a couple of CHP cars, and a few plain-clothes police," one bystander told LAist. Those detained were later released after police caught the suspect. The man's injuries were considered non life-threatening.

Man, this sounds friggin' AWESOME. Not ONLY did the guy fire from a moving vehicle and shoot someone in THE HAND, he even crashed the car into a light pole and took off.

I was hoping it was going to be one of those stories where the victim says "hey man, it's not worth it" and he slowly puts his hand over the end of the gun to calm the guy with the gun down, only to have him pull the trigger and blow a hole through his palm.


This is MUCH better.
