TV Junkie: 'Rockville'; 'Modern Toss' Premieres; McShane on 'Daily'; Kardashian Frenzy on Fallon

Today in the web TV world, Josh Schwartz's (Gossip Girl, The O.C., Chuck) music-themed web series, "Rockville CA" premieres on TheWB.com. The show features both indie favorites and up-and-coming bands such as Eagles of Death Metal, The Broken West, and Bishop Allen. “Rockville CA” is set in a fictional Los Angeles rock club and was shot on location at The Echo, which is an actual, real rock club, that you might have heard of if you have a heartbeat.

We love Ian McShane (Sexy Beast, "Deadwood") and we're psyched to see him on "The Daily Show" tonight, but the Sunday debut of his new series, "Kings", on NBC set a low ratings record despite positive reviews which is a shame because we had wanted to see him in primetime network TV. One wonders if the show can be resurrected at all.

"Sopranos" creator David Chase will be returning to HBO to create a dramatized history of Hollywood, "Ribbon of Dreams", but no stars or air date has been set.
