If you're in Silver Lake on Saturday at noon, take out your camera, take a photo or two and be part of the community's largest art project. It's all part of "Hi, Noon," a conceptual art piece from the Silver Lake Neighborhood Council's Arts & Culture Committee.

"This not just another fair or festival, we're inviting everyone in Silver Lake to become an artist," explained artist Claudia Vazquez from the committee. "We're all equal in doing the same thing at the exact same time."

Here's how it works. At exactly noon this Saturday, the entire community of Silver Lake is encouraged to snap a photo (the photo must be taken in or about Silver Lake and you don't have to live there to participate). Then share your photos, via the project's group pool on Flickr and/or by submitting a print to be displayed in their gallery show tentatively scheduled for the first week of April which in found spaces like local nail salons and restaurants. Submissions are due by March 28, all the instructions can be found on their Flickr page.

C'mon. There's only five pictures in the group pool on Flickr.

Then again, I didn't upload anything either.
