R&B singer Chris Brown won't get the chance to see if he or his song "Kiss Kiss" was a favorite for the kiddies this year, reports On the Red Carpet. The pop star has just "withdrawn his name from the ballot" for Favorite Male Singer and Favorite Song for the annual Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards, which are scheduled for March 28th. The nominations were announced prior to Brown's legal battles stemming from charges filed by girlfriend Rhianna alleging criminal threats and domestic violence the day before the Grammys last month. Brown in scheduled to be arraigned on April 6th.

The Kids' Choice Awards are decided by the fans--young fans, specifically, leaving many to speculate if Brown has any fans of any age left. The Nickelodeon crowd were enchanted enough with the young star last year to vote him their Favorite Male Singer. Of course, Brown can't "speak directly to his fans" says a rep, "because of his criminal case." One 'fan' Brown can still apparently count on is Rihanna; the pair are back together and may even be collaborating on a song. Maybe the kids will get to vote on that one next year.

Geeze woman beaters aren't a good role models.

Whodathunkit?

I wonder what made Nickelodean not publicly tell him he's not welcomed, and just pushed him to bow out himself?
JRB... women beaters don't make any kind of role models but it seems to me like Nickelodean played it too weak. They should have told him he's not welcome right away.

He's rumored to be at the NAMBLA awards on the same night.

This scum should not be near kids, let alone be a model in any form.

who cares. so he hit rihanna.

my dad beat me as a kid.
