Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa is packing this weekend full of man-about-town stops where he can meet the people and pose for photos all in prep for Tuesday's municipal election, when he hopes the voters will put him into office for a second term.
Yesterday Villaraigosa moved rapid-fire from civic events to eateries, with lots of stops at favorite food hangouts like Langer's Deli and Canter's. His day ended after 11 p.m. when he showed up at Pink's Hot Dogs on La Brea, to work the line a bit and to taste the hot dog name for him. Villaraigosa's Twitter from the event urges us to take a bite the hot dog that bears his name: "Try the Mayor's Dog at Pinks which is a Jalapeno Dog, with chopped tomatoes, lettuce, chili, grilled onions, and topped with fresh guacamole."
The Mayor Sam blog has some snaps from the Mayor's stop last night, but notes:
[Aide Mike] Trujillo said this was an example of how the Mayor "Gets out there with the people" yet it appeared no one was particularly interested one way or another that the Mayor was there.[Working at Pink's] could be a good career for the Mayor once his days in politics are over.

Hardly any speak up, even though large chunks of federal spending goes to social services of people who stole through undermanned border. Politicians like Sen.Harry Reid (D-NV), Speaker Pelosi (D-CAL) Senator Gutierrez, Sen. Feinstein (D-CAL), have been purchased by the multi-national corporations. Why use American workers when you can pay minimum wage, with no benefits and usher injured workers to a hospital for free health care? Even our Mayors, judges and other elected officers are in on the act, like LA's Villaraigosa or SanFran Newsom.
