The non-profit group Angels in Waiting thought they had an offer "OctoMom" Nadya Suleman couldn't refuse: "round-the-clock nursing care to her 14 children, while allowing her entire family to live in a home together," according to the Press-Telegram.

You would think the single mom from Whittier who was told this week she might not even be able to take her newborn octuplets home without proving she could properly care for them would jump at the chance to have the help. But OctoMom turned them down. Why? It wouldn't make them famous:
Attorney Gloria Allred, who represents the group, said Suleman spoke with Angels in Waiting founder Linda West-Conforti and seemed to be more interested in "capitalizing on her infants" and doing a reality television show.The non-profit told Suleman that they couldn't agree to working in stride with a camera crew because of the risk it posed to the babies' health and their ability to do their work. Allred has filed a request with the L.A. County Department of Child and Family Services asking them to look into Suleman's ability to assure all 14 of her children are cared for.

If any TV station broadcast a reality show about her, it should have it's FCC broadcast license revoked.
Hardly a surprise that this has come out. I'm sure this is what she has wanted all along. Unfortunately, for this reality-challenged woman, she is horribly painful to both watch and listen to, and she would make for one god-awful television show even if someone was stupid enough to give her one. I'll stick with Jon and Kate Plus 8.

She can not get off our tax dollars without the media, shows, interviews, and more. As much as we do not like her for what she selfishly did, as much as I hate to say it she will need that money to care of the kids and I say lets let her do it safely. As mad as all of us are we are still watching, reading, posting comments and so on. All of us can not wait to see what happens next. She does have mental problems. It is not a total excuse but it is not to be dismissed. Mental problems can have you make bad decisions. We need to have pity on the kids, they are gods kids, they are here, we need to hope for the best for the kids. She turned down their help and I would too they are sneaky and trying to take them. She has donatons in the six figues right now. There are a few houses in here area in a 10 mile radius for $1,900 with 6 BD and 4BA one dissapeared a few days ago. I am hoping she grabbed it. I looked at what was on the market as options when I heard of a $1.24 million house that she cant afford, that pissed me off. She also has volunteers willing to help. Turning down the porn offer she was told if she did they other porn company would give diapers for a yr. She has a clothing company giving her clothes. She is slowly getting it together without having her kids taken away. I don't like her but I want the kids to have a chance and be with their family.
She deserves nothing more than welfare !! Before people start screaming about their tax dollars being given to her, they should investigate the so called "Entitlement Programs". You don't HAVE to work...you can just sit around, do nothing, apply for welfare and they hand it to you. THOSE are the people that we taxpayers should be screaming about. The ones who take out of pure laziness, not out of true need.
People all over this country are working their azzes off trying to make ends meet, some of them working 2 and 3 jobs just to put food on the table. WHY should we make this woman a millionaire by giving her money, helping her buy a house, etc? That's a huge problem in this country: rewarding stupidity...and I refuse to do so. We live within our means, she should have to do the same.
Let her apply for welfare and get NOTHING else. She can get food stamps, housing, full medical care for her children...and best of all? NO CASH for her to run and get her nails done with, botox injections or nose jobs. Welfare will ONLY provide as much as the CHILDREN need. Her children will be JUST fine on welfare. Millions of American families are...
Anyone who sends this woman a single penny...anyone who buys a magazine with her picture on it(and therefore, contributing cash to her)...anyone who watches any 'reality' show with her on it? Is an idiot.
This woman is an idiot.
Make sure every penny anyone is giving to her is used for the children ONLY! Any thing else SHE wants or needs SHE has to work for and earn like everyone else. NO HANDOUTS FOR HER PERIOD!
That's the only way I can be comfortable with this horrendous situation she has created.

Wow, it is almost impossible to take a side in a fight between Gloria Allred and Octo-Mom. The idea that Allred would accuse anyone of "capitalizing" on others is hilarious.
