LAst Night's Action: Lakers Destroy Suns

Lamar Odom Takes It to the Hole

LA Lakers defeat Phoenix Suns 132-106. No tacos for the Lakers faithful, but they sure did get a show. Every Laker scored and six were in double figures. After scoring 70 points in the first half there was a brief scare that the Suns would come back. But the Lakers took care of that quickly and ran away with this laugher. With the Cleveland Cavaliers losing to the Houston Rockets, the Lakers now lead by two games in the loss column not counting the tie breaker.

Boston Bruins defeat Anaheim Ducks 6-0. The Boston Bruins are the best team in the East. The Ducks are fighting for a playoff spot in the West. Goalie Jean-Sebastian Giguere gave up three goals on the first seven shots on goal from the Bruins before he was yanked in the second period. It was not pretty and thankfully was not broadcasted on local television.

UCLA Bruins defeat Stanford Cardinal 76-71. The game looked like it would be another awful outing for the Bruins. The Cardinal couldn't miss, and the Bruins defense looked abysmal. But the Bruins got their act together, and although the game was throughout the Bruins persevered. The Bruins next face a big game at Cal on Saturday.

Cal Golden Bears defeat USC Trojans 81-78 (OT). Well since this game wasn't televised, I have no idea what the hell happened.
