The wall on La Brea near San Vicente is french film documentarian-turned-street artist Mr. Brainwash's rotating art gallery. Last night, Jackson Pollock and his drip technique spilled onto the sidewalk.

In the past, we've seen Einstein, Star Trek, Madonna/Britney Spears, Marion Cotillard and the Mona Lisa doing some mooning.

Special thanks to unurth - street art for pointing this out!

I love Pollack, and have several prints at home, framed and hanging on my walls...

This lazy, sloppy homage to Pollack shows so little artistic thought in its placement of drips and splashes, it's just sad.

The sooner it gets grafitti'ed over the better.

lets all celebrate by watching Ed Harris in Pollock!

this MBW guy needs to be stopped. he is littering our city with meaningless ugly "art".
