Dodgers Sign Second Baseman Orlando Hudson


According to Dodgers.com, the Dodgers have signed second baseman free agent Orlando Hudson to a one-year incentive laden deal. The deal has a base salary of $3.4 million with an additional $4.6 million in incentives with the Dodgers also giving the Arizona Diamondbacks a first-round draft pick in the upcoming draft. Hudson will be taking over second base for the retiring Jeff Kent. Where this puts Blake DeWitt is still unknown. Hudson is a three time Gold Glove winner and a 2007 All Star with the Arizona Diamondbacks.
