Our friend Michael Ian Black and his fellow "The State" colleague, Michael Showalter, will finally again be gracing the airways on a new Comedy Central show this summer called "Michael and Michael Have Issues". The first of seven episodes will premiere in July and we can't wait for them [hint, get us screeners or even have us visit the set].

NBC and News Corp (FOX anyone?) are pulling their content from TV.com (a post-CNET acquisition CBS property) and keeping it all safe on Hulu, which they are heavy investors in. Somehow CBS, which has been a leader in Nielsen ratings, suffered a 50+% loss in Q4 of 2008 due to practically having to give away airtime - we're hoping for some Letterman jokes at Les Moonves' expense.

Following our post yesterday about local stations switching from analog to digital, research company Hitwise sent over a summary of this blog post complete with tons of data and cool charts about the digital switch showing that it was only very recently that people who might be affected by service outages began to go to the dtv2009.gov website.
