Seeing a pattern here? Fertility doctor Michael Kamrava apparently has another patient--this time a 49-year-old woman five months into her pregnancy--who is at USC Medical Center with her unborn quadruplets. "Several sources told The Times that Dr. Michael Kamrava transferred at least seven embryos made from younger donor eggs," the LA Times found.

The unidentified woman denies that Kamrava is her doctor, but the Times confirms with unnamed sources that he is. He is also being investigated by the state's medical board regarding the octuplets case. "In fertility medicine, any pregnancy greater than twins is considered a failure because of the danger it poses to the mother and the babies," the paper stated, but also noting there are no laws limiting the number of embryos placed in a woman.
