Did any of you watch the Grammys? Did you enjoy it? OK, so you might actually like pop music but tell us what you specifically like about it. To us, the performances seem somewhat off and the staging heavy-handed. There was a 17% increase in viewership of the Grammys this year over last year with most folks watching during the 8:30-9:30pm hour.
Last Thursday's Lakers-Celtics game was the most watched cable basketball game since 2004, a huge win for TNT. We saw evidence of this rivalry in this Bostonist video piece with comedian Bill Burr who went off on some recent Lakers' moves.
CBS has picked up yet another Jerry Bruckheimer drama, this time it's a medial drama called "Trauma", based in Miami (yawn).

Having gone last week to the Grammy Foundation's "Music in Focus" event, I can report that any feelings of "off" or "heavy-handed" are par for the course with the Grammy organization.
