Rihanna and Chris Brown are madly in love. At least that's what every R&B and pop gossip rag would have you believe. But it appears that Mr. Exclusive may have taken things too far with his Good Girl Gone Bad. And it was not a car accident.

Brown, 19, was sought on suspicion of domestic violence assault after an early morning incident in Hancock Park, according to LAPD. He later turned himself in at the Wilshire Division station and is being held was released on $50,000 bail.

An apparent argument between a man and a woman inside a car escalated after the driver of the car stopped and the two got out after midnight Sunday morning. Officers responding to the scene found a woman with "visible injuries" who claimed Brown was her attacker.

Brown and Rhianna both canceled their performances at tonight's Grammy Awards, where Brown has two nominations and Rhianna three. Rihanna was supposed to sing "Live Your Life/Disturbia" as the second performance of the night, Brown was later to sing "Forever." Rihanna, 20, is "well" according to a statement from her publicist.
