Chris Brown, Rihanna Cancel Grammy Appearances After Suspected Felony Battery

Brown, 19, was sought on suspicion of domestic violence assault after an early morning incident in Hancock Park, according to LAPD. He later turned himself in at the Wilshire Division station and is being held was released on $50,000 bail.
An apparent argument between a man and a woman inside a car escalated after the driver of the car stopped and the two got out after midnight Sunday morning. Officers responding to the scene found a woman with "visible injuries" who claimed Brown was her attacker.
Brown and Rhianna both canceled their performances at tonight's Grammy Awards, where Brown has two nominations and Rhianna three. Rihanna was supposed to sing "Live Your Life/Disturbia" as the second performance of the night, Brown was later to sing "Forever." Rihanna, 20, is "well" according to a statement from her publicist.
