Here at LAist we are on a quest to find things for our Valentines that are sexy not cheesy, romantic not sappy. So when TenOverSix sent us an invitation to their next event, we knew that we found the perfect way to get ready for Valentine's Day. On Tuesday February 10 TenOverSix will host The Lake & Stars lingerie event. The evening will feature a special musical performance by Samantha Shelton, jewelry by Jennifer Meyer, chocolates by Ococoa, and champagne cocktails by St. Germain. The Lake & Stars ingerie designers Maayan Zilberman and Nikki Dekker will be in attendance
Named after a Victorian euphemism for a woman's skill in the bedroom, The Lake & Stars lingerie is sensual and classy. You can see some of their designs in this video directed by Matt Sundin featuring New York City Ballet dancers, Sophie Flack and Katie Bergstrom.
LAist has gone shopping at TenOverSix, watched them install a special Shepard Fairey window display, and celebrated the grand opening of this amazing store.
The Lake & Stars Lingerie event at TenOverSix is on Tuesday February 10 from 7-10pm. The pop up lingerie store will be there from February 1-21. TenOverSix is located at 7427 Beverly Boulevard. For more information and to RSVP.
