LAist went to the 2009 Screen Actors Guild Awards and asked* the likes of Tony Shaloub, Keith Powell (from "30 Rock"), Preston Bailey and Christina Robinson (from "Dexter"), Oscar Nunez (from "The Office"), Julie Benz (from "Dexter"), Cloris Leachman, Charles and Max Carver (from "Desperate Housewives"), and Dana Delaney about their favorite places to get late night food in Los Angeles.
Generally we were pretty amazed at how friendly people were, even to the press at the very end of the line. After running a 100 yard gauntlet of people yelling at you, sometimes not saying very nice things, how friendly would you be?
*Note:Yes, we have ordered a wide-angle lens so that we will get more than just the lower face of our interview subjects at the next event, but it provides an interesting perspective.

This is awesome.
Thanks so much for the support - it was hard being a one man show. Oscar (from "The Office") and his date, Ursula, came back to talk to me after I interviewed him and gave me some support and humor, saying I looked like Al Franken's reporter character from the early '90s since I had headphones on, 2 mics, a HD camera, my Flip camera, my iPhone, and my little Panasonic digital camera. Overall, everyone was really nice.
I already have a wide-angle lens for my HD camera and I'll have a monopod for the next red carpet so I hope to do many more of these.
