In a press release just issued by the Lakers, 21-year old center Andrew Bynum suffered a tear in his medial collateral ligament in his right knee after a collision with Kobe Bryant in Friday night's game at Memphis Grizzlies. He is estimated to be out for eight to 12 weeks. Just about this time last year, Bynum suffered an injury to his left knee that kept him out for the rest of the season and the playoffs. He is averaging 14 points, 8 rebounds and 1.9 blocked shots per game this season and was named NBA's player of the week from January 19 through January 25. AP Photo/Mark J. Terrill

I'm hearing a lot of "fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck" out there about this.
Why?
Lakers did pretty well without Bynum last year.
All is good.
he'll be back for the championship rounds, maybe.
Well last year when he injured his knee they said he'd be out 6 to 8 weeks. He never came back. I don't have any faith he'll be back for the rest of the season.
They'll make it to the finals without him, but it will be tough to defeat the Celtics or LeBrons without Bynum.
Wish I didn't drop Odom in my fantasy league
I was offered Bynum for Zach Randolph in my friend's fantasy league. It was my gut feeling not to take the offer. I guess time to pick up Chris Mihm on the waivers..hehe
