Shopping while under the influence? Hmmm. You can do that tonight, if you wish -- as long you don't add driving to the equation. Apartment 3 sets up shop at the Tropicana Bar and Pool at the Roosevelt Hotel. Featured designers include Anzevino & Florence, Evil Genius and Anna Selena. Other vintage items will also be available for sale. The pop up shop opens its doors at 9 pm. Drinks and DJ Kid Oh will add to the atmosphere. RSVP to danddrsvp@mac.com

BOOK SIGNING
Famed writer and producer Stephen J. Cannell discusses and signs his latest work, On The Grind: A Shane Scully Novel, at Vroman's Bookstore in Pasadena. Event starts at 7 pm and is free of charge.

LECTURE
Interested in science? Southern California has some top notch technology schools and centers, and tonight, Caltech professor of physics H. Jeff Kimble will prove it when he delivers his lecture, entitled The Quatum Internet. The lecture is free and starts at 8 pm.

FILM
BOMB IT a unique documentary by Jon Reiss tells the story of how graffiti art has evolved over the years. The film discusses not only the origins of the art form, but also explores the works of both past and current graffiti artists. Screening is at 7:30 pm at Tia Chuchas and a $3 donation is requested.

MUSIC
British electronica group Metromony pay a visit to El Rey Theatre tonight. Show starts at 8 pm and only costs $14.
