Last night was the 66th Annual Golden Globe Awards, held here in Los Angeles at the Beverly Hilton and aired live (oh, but not live here) on NBC.

In case you get roped into a water cooler talk about the awards but didn't actually watch, we're giving you a handy dandy post-mortem convo guide.

You can put your two cents' worth in and sound like you know what you're talking about by referencing Kate Winslet's double win (Best Dramatic Actress for Revolutionary Road and Best Supporting Actress in The Reader), how Slumdog Millionare nabbed two big prizes (Best Dramatic Motion Picture and Best Director, Danny Boyle) and proves its the little indie that could, how a dead person won Best Supporting Actor (Heath Ledger in The Dark Knight, how it was a bit of an upset for Mickey Rourke (The Wrestler to beat out Sean Penn (Milk) and how it's not surprising that Mad Men and 30 Rock took top honors in Drama and Comedy TV, respectively. (Complete list of winners here.)

If you want to get gossipy, you can also talk about actor Jeremy Piven's mercury poisoning getting ribbed, your thoughts on Demi Moore and Bruce Willis' daughter Rumer serving as the Globe Girl, if you think it's funny or crass for Ricky Gervais to make Holocaust movie jokes, how you did or did not miss the show last year (WGA strike) and your take on movies with lots of noms getting shut out, like Frost/Nixon and Benjamin Button.

Alternatively, you can just say "I didn't watch that crap" and go on with your day, like most of us will, too.
