Eco-Friendly Nail Salon Giving Away Free Manicures if You Recycle

When we read on Blackburn and Sweetzer that Recess on Beverly Blvd. was offering free manicures and pedicures, we got very excited. The chic eco-nail salon has been on our "to do" wish list for awhile now since GreenLAGirl gave a peek inside the beautiful spa style space and all the details.

Bring in ten old nail polish bottles to recycle to earn a free manicure. Fifteen earn will get you a free pedicure. A great deal considering that mani pedis at this 'green' nail salon run $25-$35 and up. Old nail polish is technically considered hazardous waste. Recess will dispose of the bottles properly and a safe waste disposal center. The deal is be offered until through January 20. So go get pampered, recycle, and check out an innovative local company.

Now we just need to pack up some old polish, head over there, and decide what color to paint our toes.
