Eric Garcetti Gets Married, Young Women Depressed Across LA

eric-garcetti_married.jpg The young, hip and cute superstar City Council President Eric Garcetti of LA's popular 13th district (Hollywood, Silver Lake, Echo Park, Atwater Village, etc), is now a married man. "It should mellow me out," Garcetti joked at today's City Council meeting. The small wedding was on Sunday with parents and close friends. Amy Elaine Wakeland and Garcetti have been dating for a while now; they currently reside in Echo Park. He's up for reelection on the March 3rd ballot with little competition.

I'm proud to call Mr. Garcetti's district home. He's a really engaged City Council Member. (See what I did there?) Congratulations to him & good luck in March (not that he'll need it)!

Am I the only one who thought he was gay?

I had heard that rumor from various people. But either way, congrats Mr. Garcetti!

Can't a guy dress sharp & moisturize daily w/o being taken for a 'mo? No but, I thought he was gay too. Either way, I like him and he has my vote.

Speaking of which, I need to go moisturize my elbows right now.

damn, he is pretty cute for a politician.
i want his city council seat someday.

He's not gay. He looks a lot like his dad (Gil Garcetti) did back in the day.

He probably got her preggers...Garcetti may not be gay but he is a total sleaze ball. I bet she gives birth soon!

I want to make one small correction to the article. I am the lone candidate running against Garcetti for the District 13 Council Seat, and while at 5'5" some would say I'm little, I would not say that Garcetti has little competition by any stretch of the imagination. I have a well-organized campaign, supported by a significant portion of the community, which is prepared to upset Garcetti in his re-election bid on March 3 (although I do wish him the best of luck with his marriage).

I encourage readers to check out my campaign's website at www.gary4citycouncil.com.
