Hey, It's LA Arts Month

If it was your New Year's Resolution to see more art and do more cultural activities, then this is just good timing. January is now LA Arts Month, celebrating that--yes, yes we do have art, even sometimes internationally recognized more than it is locally.

The month has two basic components. The city is pushing residents to go visit a museum or see some small theatre. Easy enough. On the other hand, the city wants to encourage local arts organizations to use ExperienceLA, the region's official cultural calendar.

From the Downtown Art Walk to the Theatre of NOTE, there's a ton to check out. What do you recommend?
