Get a Sneak Peak of the Rose Parade
Today is the first day you can see the floats for Thursday's parade. People will still be putting the final touches on them, but if you don't plan on attending or watching on TV, this your alternative. Some people find this more fun anyway.
Do the Getty Tours
There's nothing especially new at the Getty today, but weekends are great times to catch our favorite tours of the museum, which actually take place outside the galleries. There are a handful of both the Architecture and Garden tours throughout the day. See the times listed here and meet outside in front of the Museum Entrance Hall
For the Kids & Nature
A 1 p.m. nature talk with a naturalist at Vista Hermosa park will teach you about the magic of plants, "crazy stories about the animals" and more.
Closing Museum Exhibit
Today is the last day for "The Human Landscape of Mexican Migration" at the Fowler Museum. "Featuring paintings, works on paper, photographs, video, retablos and more, these works explore the struggles and visions of migrants, as well as their spiritual practices and the roles of these traditions during difficult journeys."
