Photo Essay - Griffith Park Festival of Lights

It's hard to believe the DWP Griffith Park Light Festival is now in its 13th year. Driving the mile long route can take upwards of an hour, but for those of you who own coats, LAist recommends parking by the zoo and walking the path. (We wont tell on you if you bring a flask.)

FYI - for those planning ahead, the first two weeks of the Light Festival are car-free. If you plan on walking (which I think is the best way to experience it), I highly recommend doing it during one of those two weeks. 'Cause sucking in car exhaust while trying to enjoy Holiday Festivities is just no fun!

i dont plan for the past. car-free happened weeks ago.

Vehicle Free Nights (Nov 25 - Dec 7)

tp4free I'm pretty sure jennifermarissa meant planning ahead as in planning ahead for next year.

Thanks, Lindsay, I did mean for next year.
