hey folks - freakbeat records - ventura blvd a bit east of woodman. last i checked that was the SF valley. and in addition, these guys have good stuff and reasonable prices. if you don't feel like heading down to hollywood to amoeba check out freakbeat - small but they'll order lots of weird stuff for you.

Killed it! As for the San Fernando Valley, I'm not sure if Green Hell, Heavy Rotation or Ear Candy are still open...but that about does it really...

Pennylane Records at 1661 Colorado Blvd in Pasadena. They sell a huge amount of used LP's and have a decent selection of new/used cd's and dvd's. Ive spent countless hours in this store digging through their ever changing selection. It's less esoteric than poobah or canterbury, but youre also more likely to find something you actually want.
