Baby, It's (Gonna Get) Cold Outside!

Cold and wet weather should arrive in Los Angeles this weekend; local mountains will see snowBreak out the umbrellas, Angelenos, we're supposed to get hit with a storm this weekend that will last through at least Tuesday evening bringing off and on rains. According to abc7.com, "downtown Los Angeles is expected get about a half inch of rain, while the mountains and foothills should get twice that much." Temps will be on the cool side, in fact, they will be about 15 degrees lower than usual, and there will be plenty of wind to go with the rain. High surf and coastal flooding is expected, and up "in the mountains at elevations of 7,000 feet or more, snow is expected as temperatures start to drop this evening." Great news for skiers, not so great news for folks planning to head north on the 5 through the Grapevine.
