Well, let's see what happens. I'm not going to take a side on this one. I want to see it play out in court. It worries me hearing, "There is a whole other side to the story that will be brought out in trial. There is much, much more, and it will be developed in court." This was from the defense attorney. Translation, if they can get O.J. off, I can get this doctor off. I dont' see a conviction coming.

Hopefully there will be tons of press as this moves forward that can that new cyclists bill of rights thingee to be legitimized further...

I'm glad the case is moving forward, I just wish it was moving a little faster. It's time to teach him a lesson.

This case exemplifies everything that is wrong with Los Angeles car culture. I hope he does time and never works again.

I wonder if this will be a basis for a civil suit for pain and suffering (disfigurement?) which I believe is wholly merited.

I bet the "good" Dr. ends up not doing any time. I hope that Stoehr, Peterson, and the two cyclists from the March incident ruin Thompson financially. And there needs to be an investigation in to why no charges were filed in the March incident, which could have prevented this incident.
