This is the first and only clip I've seen of the show, but already, I don't want to see anymore. Maybe that's just because I'm not one bit into vampiracy. I don't think real vampires would walk around looking like TV/movie vampires. Stereotypical, caricatures, etc. Enough.

How much more perfect can a television show get? TB will help save HBO. Stop looking for Citizen Kane on TV. That's not what the medium is about.

I'm all down for Southern-Gothic. I love to read Flannery O'Conner and Carson McCuller short stories, but G'Damn. I just find the show Tacky-tastic, in my opinion.

John From cincinnati was way out there. The first two episodes were great and then it tanked. It was like an avant-garde play at a liberal arts college, but worse... and saddening. True Blood, however, has been a complete joy. Who doesn't love a little Southern Gothic?

That's a matter of opinion. I actually like the different twist on the whole Vampire scene.
