Past GRAMMY winners gather tonight at Nokia Theatre L.A. LIVE for the taping of The GRAMMY Nominations Concert Live!!. Aside from the usual naming of nominees for the 51st GRAMMY Awards, the show will also include performances by Mariah Carey, Celine Dion, Foo Fighters, B.B. King, John Mayer and Taylor Swift. An hour long concert by John Mayer will follow the telecast to celebrate the grand opening of the GRAMMY Museum. Doors open at 4 and close at 5:30 sharp!.

Georges Bizet's classic opera Carmen comes to life at the Dorothy Chandler tonight. Set in 1830s Spain, the plot follows the lives of Carmen and her lover Don Jose who later kills her in a jealous fit when she turns her attention to a bullfighter named Escamillo. English subtitles included for the non-Francophones.

In recognition of World AIDS Day, OUTFEST Wednesdays presents the documentary A Finished Life: The Goodbye & No Regrets Tour. The film captures the journey of Gregg Gour, a 48 year old gay man diagnosed with AIDS and a 6 month death sentence, as he sets out on the road trip of his life.
