Today's Weather: A Crispy Holiday with Tornado Warnings Canceled to the South

The air is nice an crisp today with temperatures peaking in the mid to high 60s combined with scattered clouds and light winds. A few isolated showers may pop up (and have in Orange County), but it's looking like we won't see anymore rain for at least a week.

The National Weather Service has issued no urgent warnings this morning for Los Angeles through Santa Barbara counties, which means the outlook looks good so far. However, The Weather Guys at USA Today warn that "while most of the rainfall has moved out of Southern California, flash flood watches remain in effect for some of the steeper terrain through this afternoon."

Further down the coast in south Orange County and in San Diego County, the National Weather Service warned of water spouts and tornadoes around 4:45 a.m. "Doppler radar indicated a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a waterspout... this waterspout could move onshore as a tornado," they said before canceling the warning 5:15 a.m.
