BENEFIT
With the current economic situation, many will be feeling the pinch this holiday season and Thanksgiving is likely to take on greater level of significance. Even in good economic times, there are still quite a few unfortunate individuals amongst us that could use our help. You can do your part tonight at the Turkey Soup party hosted by ONE Sunset. The party benefits the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank, includes a prix fixe menu and features music by DJ Coolwhip. No cover tonight, but reservations are required.

MUSIC
Continuing their foray into the U.S. market, Cuban-Canadian sonero Adonis Puentes and his band host their U.S. CD release party at Catalina Bar & Grill. Titled Vida, the CD is a collection of original works set to traditional Cuban rhythms with a contemporary twist. Cover charge includes a copy of the CD.

COMEDY
Think your Thanksgiving dinner is awkward? Try comparing it to the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre's Thanksgiving Feast Show. Featuring some of the group's best improvisers, the show includes a varied cast of characters that are sure to make it an unforgettable dinner.

HIKE
The L.A. DWP presents the 13th annual lights festival to help us get into the holiday spirit. Situated in the hills of Griffith Park, the attraction features a number of lighted attractions with a variety of seasonal messages. It is only accessible to pedestrians until December 7th, so if you want to avoid having to see it in bumper-to-bumper traffic, this is your opportunity.
