"Antonovich, who was against Measure R, said if even if the donation was legal, it wasn't in the "spirit of the law."" What the hell does this even mean? They are allowed to donate a million dollars to whatever they want. They donated a million dollars to whatever they want. The end.

I completely agree with LACMA - many more people would visit if they could get there on the subway. I'd definitely go more often.

The museum has so much to gain by being directly connected to the rest of the Metro system. It's a lot of money to pitch to a political campaign, but when the subway starts running and people can actually get there without sitting in the cluster f*#k that is Wilshire Blvd., it will be worth it.
