KCRW just came out with each of their DJ's top ten albums of 2008. Because Jason Bentley starts his new job as Music Director on Monday, here's what the fearless leader finds to to be the best for '08:

1. M83 - Saturday's = Youth (Mute)
2. Santogold - Santogold (Downtown)
3. Jamie Lidell - Jim (Warp Records)
4. Adele - 19 (XL Recordings/Colombia)
5. Vampire Weekend - Vampire Weekend (XL Recordings)
6. Juana Molina - Un Dia (Domino)
7. Little Dragon - Little Dragon (Peacefrog)
8. The Black Ghosts - The Black Ghosts (IAMSOUND Records)
9. Portishead - Third (Mercury Records)
10. Jazzanova - Of All the Things (Verve)

Nic Harcourt, who is stepping down from the gig, and everyone else posted theirs on KCRW's blog. Check out Bentley's 2007 list, too.

Very interesting choices... I woulda given more rock love out but ya know.

Bentley's come a long way since catering to the 90's trance kiddies when he DJ'ed the massives (I was always in the house rooms).

Pure fluff like always...(Portishead excluded)
