New Orleans Hornets defeat LA Clippers 99-87. Clippers rookie sensation Eric Gordon proved that his one year at Indiana wasn't a fluke. He led the Clippers with 25 points while not Anthony Morrow-esque is still nothing to sneeze at. While three other starters scored double digits, it was still too little to combat the Hornets. Chris Paul had his sixth career triple-double with 14 points, 10 rebounds and 17 assists. David West made up for Paul's relative lack of scoring leading all scorers with 27 points.

Anaheim Ducks defeat Colorado Avalanche 4-1. Teemu Selanne scored twice on power play goals to help the Ducks reverse their recent spate of home ineptitude. Goalie Jean-Sebastian Giguere only let one shot scoot past him out of 30 shots.
