love these recaps.... you know what made me fall out last night? when the blendeds said to Naomi that they don't sit with sophomores and i'm i was like omg she is supposed to be a SOPHOMORE??? also, i haven't watched all the shows, but did Brenda really sleep with Ryan? or was that something pulled out of the writers' hats? and why was Adrianna puking? was there an episode where she got preggers and i missed it?

Okay, I didn't write about this in the post, but I also thought the whole Principal coaches the team thing was bizarre. I also spent most of the episode thinking it had to do with the guy who was coaching the football team who was more like a frat boy than an authority figure and then--I'm not kidding--I realized that was a character on Degrassi: TNG. I think it's that Sheane Grimes crossed over that led to the confusion. It seems like at West Bev they have no money for substitute teachers/coaches; when the drama teacher left Brenda Walsh took over, when the teacher who slept with the undercover cop left the principal took over, and when the lacrosse coach left he took over, too. Except, when Kelly Taylor took off for a month-long two-week vacation no one took over for her. If I were a parent of kids at the school I'd be really irate. And, yeah, filipinofetus, I also wondered who the hell was coaching the game when the Principal went to talk to Dixon! And why can't that person be the coach instead of the principal? So much doesn't make sense and they try really hard to make it seem "real."

No new eps till January?! Why is the principal coaching the team anyway? Can't they hire a coach or a gym teacher? And finally, if some kid showed up on your doorstep claiming to be your son, wouldn't you contact the adoption agency or PI or something to verify? And how did he get their address in the first place? I'm just not satisfied with this episode.

I don't watch it, but every time I see pictures of those little darlings Shenae Grimes and Jessica Stroup, I consider watching. Then I realize, well, it probably sucks, and there're better things to do with my hour. You've validated my decision. :)

What I wanna know is who was coaching the team while Dixon and Harry were in the locker room... And also, I had lunch right next to R-23 yesterday. Didn't realize it was such a sushi hit.
