You mean the LAPD are a bunch of thugs? No! Please say it ain't so!

Zootsuit stomping, Watts, Justice for Janitors, Profiling, CRASH...

Nothing, and no better, than an organized gang.

Bravo!

What an exemplar for the past six generations!

(Tom Bradley is rolling in his grave).

Ya I don't know how to feel about this.

Bratton wants to fire four of the officers involved and censure others. The Police Union is preventing any immediate action.

Eighteen Officers? How is an officer injured when throwing baton punches and shooting beanbags?

Glad that justice prevailed, but I'm not sure how I feel about $10m of our broke city's money going to this settlement.
I really hope that unless the plaintiffs were seriously injured or affected, they give this money to a non-profit that serves the city.

I never liked Christine Devine (from Fox 11 News) very much until that video of her in MacArthur Park, in the midst of melee. She saw her colleagues get rammed by LAPD, then she was shoved hard by the police, and then I think her cameraman was pushed. She did nothing but shout at the cops - telling them they had absolutely no right or authority to do what they were doing - every fallen step of the way. That was great.
