Did you ever eat too much pizza before going to bed and have one of those really weird dreams where you were bowling with Slash, Scott Ian and Billy Gibbons while Greg Brady and Corey Feldman cheered you on? Well, that dream can become a reality tomorrow night.

Tomorrow night VH1 Classic Rock invites you to Rock & Bowl with the Stars to benefit three autism charities. Hosted by Dave Navarro, Holly Robinson Peete, and Rodney Peete, the event has more rock stars than you can shake a stick - or a bowling pin - at (although I really don't recommend that. There will be security, and Billy Gibbons can probably still kick your ass.

Besides hanging with stars galore, what will the $150 ticket price get you? An open bar (it adds up fast), yummy appetizers, and a chance to play "Rock Band" with real rock stars! There will also be a silent auction where you can bid on autographed guitars, rock photography, and more! Plus it's a benefit, and if that doesn't make you feel all warm and fuzzy inside, maybe the tax deduction will.

Doors open at 7 and the bowling tournament starts at 8pm. FYI: Admission is to watch the tournament. To participate in the tournament and bowl with Billy Gibbons or whomever your pizza-addled dreams have conjured up, you will have to drop a cool 5k. I'd do it in a heartbeat.

You come to LAist because you want independent reporting and trustworthy local information. Our newsroom doesn’t answer to shareholders looking to turn a profit. Instead, we answer to you and our connected community. We are free to tell the full truth, to hold power to account without fear or favor, and to follow facts wherever they lead. Our only loyalty is to our audiences and our mission: to inform, engage, and strengthen our community.

Right now, LAist has lost $1.7M in annual funding due to Congress clawing back money already approved. The support we receive from readers like you will determine how fully our newsroom can continue informing, serving, and strengthening Southern California.
