Schwarzenegger Wants Prop 8 Overturned

Schwarzenegger on Prop 8Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger, who publicly supported the opposition to Prop 8, which sought to eliminate gay marriage in California, said Sunday that opponents should not give up and he would like to see the Supreme Court take up the issue again. "It's unfortunate, obviously, but it's not the end," he said in an interview Sunday on CNN per the LA Times. "I think that we will again maybe undo that, if the court is willing to do that, and then move forward from there and again lead in that area... I learned that you should never ever give up," he said comparing it to a learnt lesson from his bodybuilding days when he tried to lift weights too heavy at first. "They should never give up. They should be on it and on it until they get it done."

anyone remember prop 187? got 58% of the popular vote and was eventually overturned by the court.

i actually voted yes for that, but so did 58% of us back in '94.

I hate to say it but I knew 8 would pass simply because of what happened with 187. I was an idealistic undergrad back then and thought no way would it pass. Suprise! Hopefully 8 will go the same way...

Oh, and, good for Arnold coming out to say that even if it is a few days late!

One good thing he's done/said but he's still the worst governator EVER

Yup worse governor ever. His statement about No on 8 proves it. You are what you are.
