i was going to the edison but my gf got sick so i had to take care of some things...but i DID get to go to the starbucks twice and krispy kreme once near my house...

The RSVP list seems to be full-up for the LAist co-sponsored event at the Edison (http://causeontherocks.eventbrite.com). Is that really the case? Is it possible to still get on the list/get in? Or will we still be waiting in line when the Inauguration rolls around?

All the chains offering free items have changed it to not require an "I Voted" sticker, as it is illegal to do so. Now it's simply "a celebration of our democracy." Ben & Jerry's is also giving out free ice cream from 5-8.

Unfortunately I have class until 9:45, but several people have specific instructions to text me if anything important happens. Other than that, I have to be up at 6:30 tomorrow morning for work, so no. In high school one of my classmates had a father who was a US Representative and she always missed school the day after the elections due to victory parties.
