Killgore - Tonight at the UCB Theater

Murder, Most Foul!Too busy fretting about the election to make solid Halloween plans? Or do you just want to avoid spending three hours trying to force your way to Santa Monica Boulevard in WeHo while tripping over your Sarah Palin wig?

Well, you could spend your Halloween night watching the improv heroes of the Upright Citizen's Brigade Theater raise a demon from hell whilst committing lots and lots of murders! Killgore, a horror/comedy with lots of gruesome fake blood being slashed and splashed around, is running concurrently in New York and Los Angeles. The L.A. branch is having two runs tonight, once at 8 p.m. and once at 10 p.m. And we've been told that the first couple rows WILL get splattered with red stuff when the characters start being hacked apart, which means the closeted Gallagher fans in the audience may just enjoy this a little bit more than the rest of us.

We're particularly excited to see Josh Fadem's performance--having just ended his three year run as host of Josh Fadem's Acid Reflux Hour, this'll be his first free weekend to stretch out and utilize his gift with both hands free. Here's hoping he brings his unique blend of smart physical comedy and awkward confidence to whatever victim he gets to play. Here's a full cast listing, though, in case you hate his guts:
