I've watched price per gallon drop ten cents a day for the last three days. It's still way above where it was a year ago when a barrel of oil was the same price.
Hopefully this doesn't lure people back to old driving habits. One of the driving forces of this downward drop has been reduced demand, the supply input has not changed much.

$2.89 on vermont and wilshire. $2.93 at reseda and victory. cuz we all don't have costco cards (or american express for that matter lol)
I paid $2.86 today at Kester and Magnolia in Sherman Oaks.
