420 Advocate Running for LA Mayor

Temple 420 founder Craig x running for los angeles mayor

Following the Presidential Elections is another election in March. It won't draw as many people to the polls, but there will be some contested battles for city positions such as City Controller and the seat for Council District 5 (for those in West LA, parts of Hollywood, Sherman Oaks, Encino). And while Mayor Villaraigosa has a stronghold when it comes to campaign fundraising, there are a group of other not-so-well funded residents vying for the position.

One of them is Temple 420 founder Craig X, who in a campaign fundraising e-mail to supporters this morning was described as "a Cannabis club owner, a staunch 420 advocate, and as he has stated in his book 9021GROW, he is passionate about legitimizing Medicinal Marijuana and all of it's uses." His plans if he becomes Mayor? "Craig plans to Synchronize traffic lights to reduce traffic, build a Desalinization Plant (ocean water filtration), reduce oil dependency by growing food locally, and these are just a few of the adjustments Craig will make as Mayor of Los Angeles." He says he will also reduce taxes, improve quality of life and "put conserve back into conservative."

As of the September 30th filing for campaign finances, X had raised $1,100.

haha this guy is great. a jews4jesus pastor w33d advocate environmentalist villaraigosa hating libertarian. libertarians area great because they truly piss off the status quo on both sides! there's gotta be something to that.

I'm a big fan of this guy.

Apparently Walter Moore will have to have to get arrested before his name will get any mention from the local press.

500+ residents gathered at his most recent rally and yet not one respresentative from the local media even bothered to cover it.

But I guess the L.A. Times was too busy laying people off to send out a reporter.

I loved him in his cameo in Weeds

Ill vote for anyone who is willing to decriminalize the ganj
