El Capitan is featuring what has quickly become a Halloween classic, Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas. There is a special twist to this screening though: it is in 3-D. If you miss it tonight, you'll have to wait until the 30th for one of the special late night screenings that will run through November 1st.

COMEDY
It is not too late to do your part for National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and what easier way to do it than by laughing. The Laugh Factory hosts Tickled Pink, featuring an all female lineup of comedians. 20% of all ticket sales will be donated to Susan G. Komen for the Cure, an organization dedicated to helping those with cancer, so here is your chance to contribute to the cause while simultaneously enjoying some midweek humor.

Something for the dog lovers -- and who doesn't love dogs? You know you do. Linda Baronowski of the Pasadena Humane Society and SPCA VP of Education Outreach lectures on various aspects of the human - canine relationship. The lecture addresses questions pertaining to the history of our relationship with dogs, whether we are improving them and many other topics. Content is drawn from Jack London's The Call of the Wild.
